EMILIA ROMAGNA GOLF TOUR

DAY 1: Arrival at Bologna Airport. Check in in hotel. Welcome dinner.

DAY 2: Transfer to Bologna Golf Club. Leisure time in the afternoon.

One of the classic Italian courses, designed by Cotton & Harris and built in 1959, the golf club is situated on splendid rolling countryside with marvellous sweeping panoramic views across the surrounding hills and plains.

DAY 3: Transfer to Le Fonti Golf. Leisure time in the afternoon.

The club is situated in the fascinating Sillaro Valley, with a mild and pleasant microclimate, surrounded by gently rolling hills. The course, which stretches for a total of 6,480 metres, has 18 holes and is par 72, and is extremely varied and entertaining both for experienced players and beginners.

DAY 4: Start the day with a escorted walking tour of the city enriched by a street food tour. Possibility to have an expert guide attending you during your travel into the tradition of the crescent to Beccari’s sausage to sample the history of mortadella – all accompanied by a glass of Sangiovese wine. For the crowning glory, you’ll finish up at the city’s most famous chocolate maker and place where solid chocolate was invented. Leisure time in the afternoon.

DAY 5: Transfer to Modena Golf & Country Club. Leisure time in the afternoon with the possibility to add a guided tour of an Italian “acetaia” and a tasting of balsamic vinegars with Parmigiano cheese and Lambrusco wine.

The Modena Golf & Country Club is situated in a strategic position and it can be reached, quickly and easily, from any direction. Spread over 100 hectares and built following a design by the German champion Bernhard Langer, assisted by the American architect Jim Eng from Boulder, Colorado.

DAY 6: Transfer to Mulino del Pero Golf Club and in the afternoon visit of Parma. Spend the afternoon in Parma where you’ll discover the first of the region’s tasty exports: Prosciutto di Parma. Savouring the flavour on your lips, be sure to also check out the city’s many markets, beautiful palaces, squares and monuments.

Molino del Pero Golf Club offers an 18-hole par 70 course that covers 5,480 metres and is varied, technical and fun. Set in the magnificent Apennines near Bologna, it perfectly combines the exigencies of the most skilled players with those of players who consider golf a way to enjoy the surroundings to the full.

DAY 7: Transfer to Poggio dei Medici Golf Club, around 1.20hrs far from Bologna. Leisure time in the afternoon.

UNA Poggio dei Medici Golf Club offers a top quality golf course and a welcoming club house, nestled in the Mugello hills in the municipality of Scarperia, not far from Florence. Opened in 1992, with 18 holes par 73, is one of the finest in Italy. 

DAY 8: Transfer to the airport for the departure.
