LUXURY LAKE COMO

Day 1: Arrival at Malpensa airport. Transfer to Como. Two options of accommodation:

Hotel Villa d’Este 5*: Located on the shores of Lake Como, one of the most romantic in the world, Villa d’Este is surrounded by a wonderful 25-hectare park with trees, centuries-old statues and colorful flowers. Charming place celebrated all over the world.

Day 2: Sightseeing Lake Como Boat Tour with local guide introducing the unique attractions of the surrounding. You’ll see the small wooden island of Comacina as well as the characteristic bell tower of Santa Maria Maddalena, before proceeding to Bellagio, known as the pearl of the lake. Later in the afternoon back to the hotel, relax and leisure.
Dinner at the famous restaurant “La Terrazza” in Lake Como.

Experience the finest and tastiest examples of Italian cuisine, reinterpreted by the Michelin star Maestro Gualtiero Marchesi together with the Executive Chef Osvaldo Presazzi, served on the loveliest terrace on the whole of Lake Como.

Day 3: Transfer to Milan for a sightseeing tour of the city with a local English speaking guide to discover the most important attractions and monuments. In the afternoon free time to spend for shopping at the worldwide famous Galleria Monte Napoleone, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele and Via della Spiga, considered the most important luxury shopping areas.

Day 4: Discover the City of Como, with the help of a local guide, enjoying walking among beautiful gardens reaching the Centre and visiting the famous villas. The main location to visit are Villa Balbianello, Isola Comacina, Villa Carlotta, Villa Melzi and Villa Erba, but in Como Town you can’t avoid to visit the two beautiful churches of San Abbondio and San Fedele. In the afternoon you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a cooking class in the luxurious athmosphere of Villa Costanza, a mansion dated back to the early 20th century and located in Blevio, a corner of paradise on the shores of the lake. A unique experience with a professional Chef, to learn how to make Italian specialty dishes and enjoy the meal you cooked.

Day 5: Fantastic day trip in Lugano, into Switzerland. Lugano is not only Switzerland’s third most important financial centre and a conference, banking and business centre, but also a town of parks and flowers, villas, museums and sacred buildings. Art connoisseurs are attracted to this city of art and architecture by the high standard of the exhibitions it hosts. You may wish to view the city from the surrounding hills before heading to the historic town center. Stroll streets lined with alluring restaurants and shops, and view charming lakeside parks. Proceed to Santa Maria degli Angioli to view its famous Renaissance fresco, created by Bernardino Luini.

Day 6: Transfer to the airport for the departure.

Day 6: Transfer to Lake Maggiore, accommodation in Grand Hotel Des Iles Borromees.

Day 7: Take a wonderful voyage of discovery on a private boat tour: first stop, the lake’s number one attraction, a baroque patrician palace, its Italian style gardens featuring exotic plants; second stop, a colorful fishing village and its old church; finally, an Italian Villa with its English style park; placid soothing vistas of Lago Maggiore flanked by the Alps in perspective. Visit Isola Bella, Isola dei Pescatori. Later in the afternoon back to the hotel. Farewell dinner in a luxury restaurant in Lake Maggiore.

Day 8: Say Arrivederci. Transfer to the airport.
