Lake Maggiore tour

Lake Maggiore is the second largest lake in Italy. The area is filled with Mediterranean vegetation and exotic plants. With five Championship Golf Courses open all year round (except January), situated within 25 km from each other, every course has its challenging beauty, enjoyable for every golfer.

Day 1: Arrival at the airport Milano Malpensa MXP. Transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Play golf at Bogogno GC listed top 100 golf course in Europe. The Conte course is a par 72 with a design that is reminiscent of a links course, featuring wide open spaces, numerous flat sections, large lakes and a wild rough in border areas, framed by views of the Monte Rosa massif. Project: Robert Van Hagge.

Day 3: Play at Castelconturbia GC. Yellow & Blue Course. The golf course is a par 72 composed by the 9 holes of Yellow course (The Pines) and the 9 holes of the Blue course (The Chestnuts).

Day 4: Meet our local guide. Boat tour (public service). Stop at Isola dei Pescatori, Isola Bella.

Day 5: Play at Des Iles Borromees. The course has been designed to suit the natural environment in which it has been placed. The obstacles in every hole are not built, but have been there for centuries and used to create an amusing and also challenging course. Each hole has it’s own beauty, different challenges, and is fun to play for every golfer. Later in the afternoon stop at Stresa. Relax, shopping, free time.

Day 6: Play at Varese Golf Club. With almost every fairway narrowing at approximately 250-260 yards from the tee suggests that this is not a course for “big Hitters” and it is one of the reasons for which the scores have not drastically dropped as on other courses. Varese offers a variety of nature with 18 holes where no two holes are the same.

Day 7: Departure. Transfer to Milano Malpensa MXP Airport.
