ROME – THE ETERNAL CITY

Welcome to Rome, the Eternal city! The splendor of Rome transcends time as the contemporary city maintains an ambiance of classic elegance, accentuated by the ruins and the Baroque and Renaissance embellishments.

This  itinerary includes:
Day 1: Arrival at Rome Fiumicino Airport and transfer at the Hotel Crowne Plaza St Peter.
Rest of the day free time. In the evening enjoy a welcome dinner.

Day 2: After breakfast, transfer to Olgiata Golf Club, a magnificent classic tree-lined parkland golf course, it’s listed top 100 world golf course by Golf Digest. Dinner free.

Day 3: Start the day with an intimate introductory escorted tour of Rome, taking you along the iconic monuments connected to the Eternal City; Colosseum, Foro Palatino. The splendor of Rome transcends time as the contemporary city maintains an ambiance of classic elegance, accentuated by the ruins and the Baroque and Renaissance embellishments. Then lunch and continue with Spanish Steps, Fontana di Trevi. Dinner free.

Day 4: After breakfast, transfer to Castelgandolfo GC. Enjoy playing through the unique 18 holes golf course created by Robert Trent Jones Sr laying the fairways within a frame of vineyards, rose gardens, mimosa, Mediterranean pines, cypress and olive trees.
For non golfers three hours of Cooking Class to learn how to make some Italian’s classic dishes, the art of homemade “pasta” from scratch following an ancient recipe or a delicious and authentic Tiramisù.
In the afternoon, you can visit any of the Rome’s magnificent Museums or walking around the center, stop shopping in the cobblestone streets fill with life and activity in front of the elaborate window displays along Via Condotti. Dinner free.

Day 5: Transfer by train high speed premium class to Florence for a full escorted walking tour with our local guide to discover the main historical sites such as Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo, the Giotto bell tower, the St. John’s Baptistery just to mention a few. Late in the afternoon back in Rome, dinner free.

Day 6: After breakfast, transfer to Marco Simone GC for your third round of golf. Considered one of the most prestigious golf course in Italy, Marco Simone Golf Club, home of the 2022 Ryder Cup, is a must play if your are planning a golf vacation in “The Eternal City”. In the evening a Farewell Dinner.

Day 7: End of the journey, private transfer to the airport and say “Arrivederci”.
